Take me out to the ball game.

William's little league baseball team was invited to attend a major league spring training game courtesy of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The boys had a blast meeting the players and getting baseballs autographed. It was such a beautiful day at the ball park that I almost didn't mind paying eleven dollars for two hot dogs...almost. My mom came down to see the game with us and it was a nice family day. we left the game during the seventh inning and went to visit my Aunt and uncle who live about 30 minutes south of the field. Another beautiful Sunday.

They have a nice stadium and lots for the kids to do. These cutouts were cracking me up.

William held onto his glove the whole time. He was going to catch any foul ball that came our way. Thank God none did.

William was not so impressed with the autographs. He asked me "why the guys are signing his stuff". Once I explained that they were famous baseball players I think that he got it.
The Pittsburgh Pirates mascot was a hit.
Donovan couldn't get enough of him.
One of the players was from our hometown and he stopped and made sure that the entire team got his autograph. It was really nice of him to do that.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Sundays.

So fun and memorable for him! It cracked me up that he didn't know why they were "writing on his stuff"! Too funny! Imagine what he was thinking!
